So what causes a backorder? There are an assortment of reasons that can lead up to an item being unavailable. Starting with factors overseas, it could be due to a package being held up during customs, or shipping. It could also be an item that has an unexpected high demand, and they are having a hard time producing them as fast as consumers are wanting them.
So what can be done? Unfortunately, there is not a lot that can be done to speed up the backorder process (as wigs can take a while to make!). This is why we suggest stocking up on your favorite styles when possible. This will help tide you over, if you do end up on a waiting list.
